BioLex does not require sign-up or login, and we do not collect any personal information from you. There is no account creation, no name, email, or phone number requested by the App, and no personal profile is created or stored on any server.

BioLex works fully offline. The biology dictionary itself is bundled with the App and stored locally on your device — no dictionary lookups are sent to any server.
Your recent searches, bookmarked/favourite words, selected languages, and quiz progress are also stored locally on your device. This data is never uploaded to us or to any third party, and it stays on your device unless you clear it yourself or uninstall the App.
You can clear your recent searches or remove bookmarked words at any time from within the App.
The App uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine to pronounce words and definitions aloud. This processing happens entirely on your device; no audio or text is sent to us or to any third party for this feature.
The free version of the App may display advertisements through third-party advertising providers such as Google AdMob.
